UV PROTECTION
As UV rays are harmful to eyes, all our goggles are 100% ANTI UV certified as per Standard EN 174. The ski goggles represent the best form of protection, they fully cover the eyes stopping UV rays from reaching the eyes, and preventing glare
HIGH PERFORMANCE ANTI-FOGGING
THE HIGH-PERFORMANCE ANTI-FOGGING SYSTEM consists of a double lens with anti-fog treatment on inner surface, and a well-ventilated frame which helps ventilate the inside of the goggles. The frame is ventilated to enable ventilation of the inside of the goggles To enable good ventilation of the inside of the goggles, the vents must not be obstructed for example with a scarf.
DOUBLE LENS
Goggles are designed with a double lens to reduce condensation. The air trapped between the 2 screens provides thermal insulation. Reduced thermal shock delays development of fog on inner lens. The inner lens is also anti-fog treatedDo not rub inner surface of lens but dab carefully with Wedze microfibre case in order to preserve anti-fogging treatment as long as possible.
SPHERICAL LENS
The spherical shape provides the best horizontal and vertical field of vision. It also provides the least distortion. The outer lens is made of polyamide, the most resistant to impact whilst the inner lens is made of acetate
PHOTOCHROMIC LENS
The photochromic lens becomes darker based on the UV rays and relative presence, the shade varies during the day spent skiing.
STRAP
40 mm-wide Polyamide, Polyester and rubber elastic, non-slip silicon strip
MICROFIBRE CASE
Consider protecting the goggles and particularly the lens from possible scratches, before and after use, with the Wed'ze microfibre case. This case also cleans the lenses, its material is perfect for maintaining them in good condition without scratching them
EN 174 STANDARD:
The EN 174 standard is a European standard that applies to helmets used for skull protection when downhill skiing or snowboarding.
AVOIDING THE FORMATION OF CONDENSATION
Humidity causes the formation of condensation. It is therefore best to avoid filling foam with humidity, for example by placing ski goggles over damp helmets or hats. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. This is therefore why you must correctly dry your ski goggles overnight to get rid of all traces of humidity and use perfectly dry goggles the following day.
The LAND 700 are ski goggles with photochromic lens which changes colour based on the UV rays. Adapts to see under the sun and clouds.
